Dr. Dinorah Nieves earned her PhD in Sociology from Fordham University, with a concentration in Race & Ethnic Studies.
As a performance coach she works with individuals to access their personal and professional best. As a sociologist and educator, she teaches students and organizations about the power and possibility of systemic change.
Currently, Dr. Nieves is an Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts specializing in Social/Behavioral Science and Communications, for Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. Dr. Nieves has also taught as adjunct faculty with a number of esteemed colleges and universities, including the College of New Rochelle, Pace, John Jay College of Crim
Currently, Dr. Nieves is an Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts specializing in Social/Behavioral Science and Communications, for Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design. Dr. Nieves has also taught as adjunct faculty with a number of esteemed colleges and universities, including the College of New Rochelle, Pace, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, UNAD Florida, the City of New York's (CUNY) City College and her alma mater - Fordham University. Course topics include communications, sociology, mass media, organizational behavior, racialization, ethnic studies, and more.
Dinorah continues to facilitate capacity building training with various corporations and organizations seeking to build their skills in cultural competence, racial sensitivity, intercultural interpersonal communication and economic class consciousness.
